he BA as we like to call it now has been a traditional English alehouse and restaurant in the heart of the pretty Berkshire village of Holyport for more than 200 years.
Previously 'The Eagle' until the First World War, the original building remains at the heart of the pub. There are roaring log fires during the winter months and a beautiful garden overlooking the village pond - perfect for whiling away summer afternoons.
We offer traditional British food, using the best quality ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible. Classic Steak and Kidney Pie and traditional fish and chips sit alongside Wild Boar Pate and Goats Cheese Soufflé to provide a menu that is both comforting and interesting. Provenance and flavour provide the bedrock for the menu which is delivered in a relaxed and very friendly atmosphere.
